β€œI have to admit that Keurig really did design an idiot-proof coffee maker,” I think to myself in my hotel room at 6am on the day DST starts, before putting the mug in upside down and hitting β€œbrew”

Hitting brew with no mug in at all...

@rebeccawatson

omg. i have a Ninja that works like a Keurig and almost brewed with no cup ready today πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ time change is tough, my people

@rebeccawatson I burnt one out by putting the reservoir on the slightest fraction of a degree askance. So slight that the mistake was only apparent through close inspection of the rear of the machine. To me, that's shoddy design.

User Support Rep at my old company: "You will never writer software that's smarter than your most innept user...."

@rebeccawatson @dsilverman I’ve done that without a time change to blame πŸ™
@rebeccawatson "When trying to design something idiot-proof, never underestimate the resourcefulness of idiots", say we in IT. And: it's only idiot-proof until they develop a better idiot :)
That said, this very morning I tipped my contact lens storage fluid into the waste glass BEFORE putting the lenses on my eyes, not after.
