You're cheering on "the toughest set of border security reforms we’ve ever seen in this country?" Unprecedented, unilateral executive power over the borders? Hiring cops by the hundreds and hundreds?
Isn't literally all of that, you know, *exactly* in line with the Republican Party platform?

It's much more humane than the other guy's plan which is to shoot everyone coming close to the border, and to use the military to forcefully deport people already in the US

Every other day of the year, we need to hold our representatives to a higher standard. If we set Trump as the bar, then we drag our expectations down into the mud. We can do better and we should demand better.
