I think carving a tunnel through a 2400 year old tree and then charging people money to drive a car through it sums up US culture better than anything else

@melissabeartrix i was going to jokingly say "i bet there is a yelp review saying this" and then looked up 1 star reviews and i absolutely fucking hate how right you are 😂 The half dozen one star reviews are mostly variations of this

There was another one where the car was too big, but the driver went through anyway, got stuck, and backed out, tearing off his wing mirrors. Damaged the tree, too. And blamed the people who looked after it.
