When the Ford government boasts about spending "more than planned" in healthcare & education, remember the "extra billions" is not new funding. It's money being spent to cover retroactive pay because public sector wages were illegally suppressed during #Bill124.
• Education: $2.6 billion higher than planned
• Heath: $1.5 billion higher than planned
#DougFord is also citing the Bill 124 "fallout" as his excuse to intentionally underfund childcare & likely sabotage the Fed's national program.
