I got a good number of notifications from a #Python project I contributed to (issues and patches as well). In every single case, after my last comment, the maintainer hasn't replied for five years and now used github actions to lock the issue "due to inactivity". Not that I care that much about this project (I don't use it anymore) but this is really damn hostile. And it also doesn't make sense. Would it be better if I pestered the maintainer for an answer?
