@sean_ae very relatable, I don't have much time for active listening, busy working on my own shit. I feel like I only rrly listen to new music when I'm coding, but then I'm so deep in the blur, it's usually just tracklist-less techno mixes. hah. walking and listening to tunes is nice tho.

(I DID just recently have some active listening time with Squarepusher's new album, that track "Heliobat" is a tender one.)

@onokio @sean_ae I definitely empathise with this - there are around 8 techno mixes I get sucked into when doing any coding or deep concentration work, and it's a struggle to extend my listening habits beyond them.

I've been such a headphone listener for the last few years that a recent long solo car journey was a revelation: ~12 hours of listening to loud music on speakers was such a joy, even though the car's sound system is a bit crap. Nearly crashed when Red Planet "Visual Contact" came on
