Does anyone know what the hell has happened to Google maps/Earth? The images are incredibly fuzzy. I've taken off 3D but it hasn't helped.

@poss Perhaps a few weeks of this and they'll introduce a $$Premium$$ subscription where you can see what you used to see for free

@ajft Yeah, that's why I was thinking.

@poss wow, I haven't looked at google earth for ages, just discovered that the footage for where I live is from 2017 or earlier

@poss conversely, nearmap has footage from 15-Feb-2024 - much more better!

I'm seeing crisp images on the desktop until I get down to the 5m scale bar in your area. Map age shows as 2024 ... dunno?

There are some slight differences due to screen resolution but that looks the same.
