My coat rack and shoe rack are from IKEA, solid wood build. All white color. The floor in the foyer is dark. This mid-century console perfectly balances the black / white color with a warm tone, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

@Alex_RE the 3 seater costs US$1600! Definitely expensive for IKEA. But the design and the quality is top notch too.
I read an article on Wall Street Journal a while ago about how bad the sofa quality has been. Even US$4000 sofa only lasts 3-5 years.
So I decided to pull trigger on the IKEA sofa. The cover is easy to take off to wash.
@corgidad I want one where I can take the cover off to wash or change, that's definitely a plus
