Let's face it: The Supreme Court is in the bag for the Trump party. The idea that it needs to consider whether the president is totally above the law is beyond bonkers.

Even assuming (as I do) that the court rules that presidents can't (for example) order a hit team to kill political opponents, this is the delay Trump and his fellow fascists wanted.

For now, he is damn near above the law. Disgusting, terrifying.

This is simply absurd, but given all the other things the GOP has gotten away with, not surprising.

It's easy to blame Republicans in all of this, but that's kind of like blaming the other team for scoring when you leave your own goal unattended.
