Lukewarm take: I have to stare at my dumb face enough in the mirror, and on the editing timeline. Why would I want to make social into work by having to stare at it here too?

I'm a bit less camera shy but I still don't necessarily prefer it. The only reason I use camera bits is because some people won't stfu about "taking me seriously when I use an anime pfp" so I have to at least semi-compromise. Still, that perception is... It's just dumb.

My ultimate preference would prolly just be to use my PSO2 avatar as the speaker, or at least a drawn illustration of them. It's a thought I'd always had for a while.
That requires commissioning someone else though, because unlike code I can't just dumb my way into a good piece of art like I can a semi-functional mame client. And, ah, I ain't got that kinda cash to properly compensate someone yet. >.<

Still.
If VTubers can at least pretend to be cute girls, why can't I so I won't explode into hives?
And so I don't have to spend fucking three months between videos because dealing with camera a-roll that has to get synced and all the outtakes that comes with it and all the disk space used and.... Guh.

I don't think you want to know how *fucking long* it took to deal with that.

@ThatOneSeong no one wants to hear about losing weight but uhh... my therapist sent me to a nutritionist and I lost 5 kilos in a week. I still eat chocolate and shawarmas. (also, podcasts and long walks got me past 20 by now)
@ThatOneSeong no pressure tho, I've been warming up to vtuber avatars lately, especially since trafotin said he uses it for privacy. And PNGtubers were a thing since forever ago, I don't mind.
