The ruins of the A-Listed Lennox Castle, just to the north of Glasgow. Designed by David Hamilton in a Normal Castle style, it was built in the 1830s for John Lennox Kincaid. In 1927, the estate was purchased by the Glasgow Corporation and turned into a residential hospital for people with learning disabilities, with the castle itself being used as the nurses' home.

The hospital was closed in 2002 and the empty castle was destroyed by a fire in 2008, leaving nothing but a derelict shell.

The structure seems robust enough to be repurposed/restored, would make great place for new school/hospital
@bencardoen It would be nice to see it brought back into use, but unfortunately, it doesn't look quite so structurally sound from the other side.
Unfortunate, still, one can dream.
