I don't understand how people have like 5 tabs at most.

I currently have 7 browser windows each with 15+ tabs

@Oric I am one of the five tabs at most people, I can't handle a busy window for too long 😆 I use bookmarks a ton to save anything I'm remotely interested in

@Oric I could ask the exact opposite tbh :D

I prefer having the least tabs open as possible. When I need to keep more tabs open, I use tab groups as much as I can. Most tabs, 20 to be exact, are open on my phone. And I use lots of tab groups there and every time I open my tab overview, my inner minimalist gets triggered like crazy xD

Then, looking at other people's tabs, say at work, the freaking X icon to close the tab is bigger as the tab itself. And they have three windows like that. How can one work with that? :D

But it seems like they have their methods :D

@RayuDW don't get me wrong, I can work with a "clean" browser too, but I feel like I'm faster at doing stuff with loads of tabs

@Oric Nah, it's all good. I don't judge people for their amount of tabs they have open ^^

Everyone has another preference and mine simply is to keep the least amount of tabs open. I just like it to keep it simple and clean :D

Sorry if that was communicated in the wrong way from my side ^^"

@RayuDW Oh, I didn't take that wrong at all

just expanded on my stance, since I used to have clean windows... until I started not to

@Oric I'm curious if that spills over to me at some time as well tbh :D

Most I've had open were three windows with 15-20 tabs open each. Self-hosting stuff and testing out new tools and frameworks can blow up tabs quickly I suppose

@Oric I probably have ~1000 tabs open at the moment split between 10 windows. I swear there's a method to my madness.
Eventually I'll just close everything and start fresh again like ripping off a bandaid.
