Yesterday, I watched once again one of those tutorial on how to have the perfect setup in Obsidian.
Was wondering how much productivity you lose for the sake of a pretended second brain.

Tool like obsidian or it's #FOSS Logseq are useful, and correctly prepared for specific tasks, very much so.
But like every software, you need to be able to defined said tasks. So usually you spend lots of time exploring the bell and whistle (and that's a lot of fun 😜) but to defined it or refined it for a useful purpose, that demands first:
- Do YOU know what to do?
- And have YOU thought about how YOU are going to do it?
I have a very specific use case for @logseq And it's been a blast using it. If I could synchronize it efficiently with my tablet. (I know technically you can, but it's not there yet) I'll use it for other purposes.
You search for other tools like that? There's Zettlr, NextCloud Note with Iotas or extended with OwnNote. NextCloud Collective is becoming quite good. And of course DokuWiki is a grand old favorite.
And you what's your favorite? #noteTaking #noteManagement #secondBrain #BrainDump
