c_alpha@ricci So the "purposely deformed base" didn't "retard" you in removing it from the cabinet? Not very effective then... 🦹🏻♂️ (or not deformed enough)
@c_alpha It's so confusing - I think the text refers to the fact that there are little raised bumps that have been hammered into the top - but this implies that there was a time when theft of built-in appliances was a thing? And that the thieves could would be deterred by a few little bumps? So weird.
@ricci Well, a microwave might have seemed a much bigger loot at the time than today. But perhaps the spray-on was rather to deter customers from complaining about the device and demanding a replacement ("It's dented!!!")? #FauxMarketing 😉
