What's the most supernatural thing you've experienced that has no rational explanation? - Lemmy.World

Prophetic dreams. Never about anything important, nothing I could have predicted, and way, way, too detailed to be chance. I used to record my dreams, in my early and mid 20s and some of them did happen. It pissed me off so much because I want to believe the future has not yet happened.
Oh my god tell me who wins the next US election so I know what kind of apocalypse to prepare for

Can’t do that but could tell that the scale at the bank would be broken, and that I would see someone I’d not seen in years at that bank on the day the scale was broken, and that is be in back of 3 people in line that day, all women. What the fuck?

It is as always on only ever stupid, detailed useless stuff like that, and if I’d not been writing down the dreams when I had them I’d not have known. Maybe everyone has them.

I don’t write them down anymore and don’t have them as often as I used to but every single one of the future dreams that came to pass were dreams of totally ordinary events and conversations.

Always brief, a moment of realization that it’s happening confirmed by the next 10-30 seconds of events. It has always happened in a social setting. At work, at school, but never at home.

Once in a while part of it doesn’t happen. For example the future memory included a brief conversation and even though everything else in the moment is just like the dream, the conversation part doesn’t come to pass. That has only occurred twice to my recollection.

I personally take it as an indicator that I’m exactly where I’m “supposed” to be, whatever that means.
