Not a joke: In Australia there is a 90-tree grove made up of Wollemi Pine trees, which evolved from about 91 million years ago, survived the Late Cretaceous extinction event, and somehow survived in a small group all the way up til now. We thought they had gone extinct 2 million years ago!!
