The plan was to continue by #Deutschlandticket, but I went for a #Flixtrain ticket when today‘s strike was announced, expecting that REs and S-Bahns will be unbearably full today.
(That is fuller than they usually are already). My first #Flixtrain ever is quite empty today, at least from Aachen to Cologne.
I find the overhead racks undersized (and hope my luggage won‘t fall), and the seat spacing to narrow, as a big guy having the table down is uncomfortable unfortunately. Otherwise it‘s not much worse than an old DB IC carriage, I think.
