Had to stop using K-9 client on my Android phone and tablet.
Bluehost is not allowing email to be sent out for some reason. Sending works fine from Thunderbird 115 on PC. But not K-9. Found some chatter online abt the issue. Email shows sent on mail server (Roundcube) But does not make it to recipient. There are no error msgs. Just silently does not send on from server. Tech support at Bluehost cannot ID the problem. Now using GMail client for my IMAP accounts.

FYI: I was having constant difficulty SENDING email from K9 Mail when on cell data only. I switched back to BlueMail hoping for better results. Same problem. Mail would show sent on device and webmail portal. But never reached recipients. I determined that my hosting company was blocking it because of the IP address. I am pretty sure that Bluehost blocked sending flagging it as spam coming from shared SMTP IP on T-Mobile's network. Using VPN resolved issue.

@houdave @alecaddd @cketti Thanks so much for the research and the heads up! Since this weekend is FOSDEM, responses from Alessandro and cketti might be delayed as they're travelling/prepping/speaking!

@houdave I still think this is unacceptable service from your email provider. At the very least they could reject accepting the email with an appropriate error message that an email client could display to the user.
@cketti Absolutely true. Thank you for your help and reply!
I just wanted to share that issue in case other TB/K9 users have the same problem.
Maybe you guys can add it to your known issues that are out of your control.
