@alexwild this is excellent. My friends and I on @interactome have a fascination with funny scientific names, but I'm not sure any of us have seen this list before. Goes to show that the "old web" still has a lot of gems.
@alexwild I see there are many spider names that are missing! It does have some of my favourite Platnick ones, _Notnops_, _Tisentnops_, and _Taintnops_. (Later workers have added to the trend.)
