Well, with this being the last weekend of the #yegdtmarket before it shuts down in its current form, I went in to stock up on a few things. I'd stopped at the Four Whistles Farms booth and picked a substantial order, and right when I was about to pay one of their people starts up an anti bike lane rant with a couple of his customers.

So yeah, I guess I need a new source of duck.

Kind of glad the ignorant guy behind the counter spoke up when he did because otherwise I'd have gone ahead and paid.

@Coprolite I don’t understand how business owners are too stupid to keep their opinions to themselves.

Whatever moron that was has lost two customers (so far).

@u47 It was just the weirdest thing to say. Like there was some connection in his little head between electing councillors who were mostly okay with bike lanes existing and the market having to close due to the landlord (White Oaks) jacking up the rent and the utilities costs of running the building being exorbitant (one merchant there stated they were in excess of $15K per month).
