Between the 17% App Store fee and €0.50 per install per year, Epic is probably going to end up giving Apple more than the 30% cut that caused them to exit the App Store in the first place.

Nothing is certain but death and Apple taxes.

@carnage4life surely they’ll just skip it all and make the epic store, paying apple no fee, and then charge all the games that sign up for it 20% commission?

@grork @carnage4life yeah the link he included explicitly says they’re starting their own store, so they won’t be owing the 17%
