Tristan Colgate-McFarlaneJust saying but... Bank pool is the single most boring cue sport on earth. The rules are setup to remove luck from all valid shots, so it degenerates in to waiting for someone to get slightly more lucky than the rules imagine (almost any bank shot requires a skill to luck ratio that means you were at least lucky enough to hit the top end of your skill). It's two hours of watching people miss.
Or rather, even the easiest bank shot is going to be an 8/10 for a good player, and there aren't that many easy banks).
Jack Baty@tmcfarlane Never played bank pool, but we used to play 3-cushion billiards a lot and that was fun and impossible. I had a run of 4 once :).
@jbaty I've been watching a bit of one-pocket, and that is pretty fascinating, looks a lot of fun. (I only really played snooker, 8 ball and 9, maybe played billiards one or twice)
