Is there an optometrist out there who can tell me what stat I need to level up on my eyes to use the latest Apple product. Maybe I can find some buffs
So I’ve booked an eye appointment next Thursday, where I will request from my eye doctor a intentionally-slightly-shitter version of my prescription, because I’m right on the line of what they allow, all so that I can purchase and use the latest Apple Hardware Product.
I’m feeling super weird about this future. But. Let’s go!
Ryan@cabel Also- the fact that lenses are a prescription they same way something like a pain medication is, is wild. Why do glasses need to be controlled the same way as oxycodone?
Jonathan Hendry@jonhendry @cabel That's true. I guess it's the expiration/ requirement that you need a prescription at all I find strange. You can buy reading glasses anywhere, but for a specific vision need you have to have at doctor's signature.
