I want to finally get my #productivity #website up and running this year. One thing, however, is that I'd like to steer clear of using #Wordpress; I'm using WP on my main site, for now!

I was, therefore, wondering what #CMS and or static site generators would you recommend?! There are just too many to choose from.

@toran what are you looking for from your tool? There are a lot of options. Are you comfortable with html? Markdown? Do you want more hand holding? Do you want to self host? Are you good with simple or do you want it to have more? Will you be designing a custom look or having one commissioned?

@ebiester I'm fine with HTML and the basics of CSS (though I'm learning that language). I like the idea of using Markdown, so I can write in Obsidian before posting!
