Deep into podcast research this morning, looking for some information from any mid-Westerners....

Has there been an update on the life of Excalibur at ValleyFair! since it was discovered a permit was filed with the US government for permission to tear the ride out?

As is usually the case with this park, no one seems to have an update on the status.

@onceuponacoaster as far as I know, it's still there and has been sitting unused for a long time

@displaythehexagon It's definitely still standing (unless that changed in the past 24 hours lol). And it's still listed on the VF website with a summer operational schedule. I just wonder how accurate that is given the CF/SF merger and the filling of the permits.

Only time will really tell on this one, I guess.
