@LG5Films Regional war with a strange mix of allegiances. You have to have more of the world fighting than Syria, Iran, & a stalled Russian military in Ukraine to be a world war.

@OK_Adubya This is how these things start and spread and Israel seems to be indiscriminately bombing whoever they choose, while Biden lets them; this is a precarious situation the press should be focused on, not Pentagon guy got surgery and didn't tell anyone, that was the point I was trying to make.

There has been pressure on Israel to change their campaign by Biden but sadly more is needed for Israel with allowing better foreign aid access into Gaza.

If war is at risk of spreading then the head of Defense being MIA has a bit of a public concern. Though I don't see how Iran dominoes into other conflicts outside of some harsh maritime disturbances.

@OK_Adubya Pressure? By whom? All I've heard is full throated support from Biden; what ever they're doing "behind the scenes" is effecting nothing on the ground; this is pure PR; nothing changes unless Biden dies, looses the election, or there's a general strike...I hope I'm wrong, but this is going really badly and more countries are going to start taking more extreme actions, like what Yemen is doing with shipping in the red sea.

@LG5Films You can label it PR but Israel has started drawing down troop in Gaza & Biden admin as pressured them to be more selective. Reports are showing 7/30 Hamas battalions remain which warrants less intensity.

You can have your differences about Biden but the opposite is Trump who cut all aid to UNRWA & restricted most other funds to Palestine. Biden remains one of the few global leaders & Democrat still pushing for two-State which is a needed next step. GOP wouldn't even consider that.

@OK_Adubya They've been talking about a two state solution for half a century and we're further away from that now then we've ever been; that's a fiction that has been thoroughly contradicted by every Israeli official they've interviewed since this started, so how do you think a two state solution will happen? Biden won't stop their indiscriminate bombing of hospitals and refugee camps, how's a 2 state solution going to happen? He can't get them to stop starving them or cutting off there water

@OK_Adubya Also, Israel is basically salting the earth in Palestinian territories; tearing up their plants, and bombing their population centers with White Phosphorus; these areas will be unlivable for years; remember ground zero? It's going to be like that everywhere; they're making it so there won't be a state to go back to.
