So, the new (and soon-to-be required at MPOW) version of MS Teams for Mac is more than 1 GB. Is that the new normal for apps? Seems... excessive.

I did a bit of web searching but mostly found old forum posts saying "hopefully the new version will deal with all this bloat".

I just re-downloaded Zoom and it is less than 40 MB. (1/25th as big, and about ten times better.)

And BigBlueButton does it all better out of the browser.

Shouldn't integration into the MS suite create efficiencies?
