Erik Uden 🚩Whenever you reject utopian thought for political realism remember that to a peasant 500 years ago your life today would've seemed utopian, and that the rights you have today were once believed to be too much to ask for, or even too much to ever be possible.
James Smith@ErikUden even if we can’t have the utopia of 500 years from now right away, it’s still something to aim for. We have to get through this year to get through next year to get through the next few centuries, so why wait. Biased political realism, or political realism with a mission.
To that end, I’m going to work this year on getting local non-profits in my area sharing strategies and opportunities and looking a bit longer term. Hopefully by sharing some of the work it won’t be too hard.
