First impressions of my new HHKB after several hours:

- It's incredibly compact.
- Adjusting to the layout is tough! I often hit the ~ key instead of backspace, and reaching the Fn key without leaving the home row is challenging. This makes it hard to use the arrow keys without looking.
- The keys have a noticeable rattling sound, which appears to be a common issue among HHKB users (not so much with the type-S models).

- The Topre switches feel great to type on. Compared to the silent switches I used before, these are not mushy at all.
- I love the hardware DIP switches for customization without extra software – a big win over trashes like Logi Options that tend to eat up more RAM than Xcode does!

So far my rating is a mere 6/10. I'll give myself more time to adapt and see how it goes.

Update on my HHKB - after chatting with other HHKB users on Reddit and confirmed that the key rattle is indeed an issue/feature of the Professional/Classic model, I returned mine and ordered a Hybrid Type-S.

I hope this will be my last keyboard.
