@MsMerope Yes, that's the only place (I think) in California where you are still allowed to do that. Carved out somewhere by the CA legislature due to lobbying by the OHV folks.

NorCal beaches aren't extremely accessible - you often have to clamber over rocks or down a cliff to get to the shoreline...
