it’s just a simple fact that there’s nothing in this life that feels as good as another being feeling so safe and secure that they fall asleep on top of you.
@rebeccawatson mine was so safe and secure he disagreed with me that i should get out of bed when i woke up today and went 70 pounds of dead weight multiple times
@rebeccawatson I think in pop culture, wet cookie translates to limp bizkit. :)
@robch @rebeccawatson In the case of our two cats, to safe and secure I'd also add entitled.

@rebeccawatson

This is exactly how a human child won me over too.

@rebeccawatson Indeed. I have the privilege of being a heated cat bed.

@rebeccawatson

In my case, it is the feral cat sleeping in the cat house with warming pad we put on the porch for him. Took almost 3 years to get him that trusting. Now he knows to expect breakfast on schedule. When he hears sounds of my getting up he pokes his head out to check, goes back to sleep. When he hears the door latch he's out like a shot, waits 10 feet from where i will put the bowl until i go back inside.
That level of trust is fine with me. I'd like more, but I take what I can get.

@rebeccawatson Waldo knows something about that. BLEP.
