In Germany, we call the inside of a fruit “Fruchtfleisch”. Translated, that means “Fruit-Meat”. You’re welcome

Hey wait a sec isn’t “fleisch” closer to literally meaning “flesh”

Because we call the inside edible part of a fruit the flesh in English too :P

German is a bit ambiguous here. we use Fleisch for animal flesh that is eaten as food (meat) but also in the sense of flesh in general.
… why is that ambiguous. It’s the same thing.
It’s not that’s why English has two words for it,meat and flesh.
