@kennwhite Pretty sure that's always been possible, just at lower speeds because with Lightning, you only get USB 2.0, and thus no Gigabit Ethernet.

USB Fast Ethernet adapter chained to a Lightning to USB adapter, basically.

@kennwhite it worked with Lightning as well; been there, used it:) you just have to supply usb power as iPhone refuses to provide > 20 mah (AFAIK).
