It's that time of year where I occasionally remind the world of the existence of this cursed bit of generative music I made years ago: Endless Jingling, which mashes up a random selection of three of four different carols on each reload, jumping randomly between measures of each ad infinitum.

@joshmillard i tried this on my phone and i was cackling like a fool. thank you. :) then i closed the browser tab. then i switched back to mastodon and it was still playing? so i force-quit the browser. i force-quit mastodon client. i swiped away every app i’ve launched ever. it was still playing.
at this point, i’m laughing so hard i’m crying. my son is asking me what’s wrong. so i just turn up my phone volume and set it down and gesture to it.
