Evidence emerging in a criminal investigation into rape reveals that Bridget Ziegler, cofounder of the anti-LGBTQ+ group Moms for Liberty, admitted to engaging in a three-way sexual relationship with her husband and a unidentified woman. The unidentified woman claims that Christian Ziegler, the husband who just happens to be chair of the Florida GOP committee, raped her. Text messages showed the woman had arranged with the Zieglers to meet for a threesom. After Bridget had to cancel, the woman texted Christian back and called off the plans saying she was mainly in it for Bridget. Christian Ziegler then showed up unannounced at the unidentified woman's and according to her forcibly assaulted her. The woman later visited the emergency room and had a rape kit administered. A friend called 911 2 days later to report the woman hadn't shownup for work for two days in a row. No charges have been filed. Christian Ziegler's attorney says his client is innocent.

It's hard to overstate how hostile and cruel the Zieglers have been to LGBTQ+ folks. Bridget is a member of the Sarasota County School Board. She has voted in favor of removing posters from school walls that have LGBTQ+ messages. She and other school board members have tolerated and in many cases made public comments referring to the only openly gay school board member as a predator looking to groom young kids with his LGBTQ+ support. Bridget was instrumental in helping DeSantis pass the don't say gay bill and was present when DeSantis signed the law. Bridget Ziegler has strongly supported new history guidelines that strictly limit the teaching of slavery and racism in this country.

Christian and Bridget have three young children. The couple will tell anyone who will listen that they are devout Christians who live pius lives. They have both been vocal supporters of the DeSantis culture wars.

It's hard to grasp the utter depravity and hypocrisy at work here, and once you do you want to scream until your eyeballs fall out. These two people have made it their life's work to humiliate and bully people who make choices they disagree with. And then in secret they slink around in a polyamorous relationship. And of course, there is the very real possibility that Christian raped somebody.
