OK...just found out a serious complication.

My other doctor handling my cardiovascular exam has scheduled an appointment for me next Tuesday, but they are requiring me to pay a past due amount of $194 before they can admit me. If I can't pay at that time, then they would have to reschedule me until I am able to pay, at an additional cost of $75...

...and that doesn't include the cost of the co-pay for the original appointment. And, they say that they have to collect the full amount when I check in for the original appointment on Tuesday before they can admit me.

The alternative is an online payment plan where I would pay half the amount now and the balance next month, but I don't have enough on my card...

...to cover even half the payment right now, because whatever I have I have to save for my personal doctor's appointment next week for processing the paperwork for my student loan discharge (which is a whole seperate pickle I'm in).

So, I could use all the help I can right now, people.

Had to up the fundraiser goal to $600 to cover everything present and future.
