I promise I'm more culturally diverse than I first seem.
But not a lot more.
The Grateful Dead have moments that feel like when your boss ("Randy") made you come see his blues-rock band play at that sports bar by the airport with the bad chicken wings.
Randy's band was called “Groove Plan” or “The Slick Skinnies" or "Corvette Society" or some shit.
God, I fucking hated Randy.
Every Randy has a weird mustache and was already an unenthusiastic stepfather at birth.
There are whole books about these people.
One of my favorite clients from the old days was a tshirt screen printing company - the wife managed the company, the husband did the screening. The old PowerMac that generated & printed the screen masks invariably had print driver or internet troubles, so the husband would badly dismantle the computer searching for a loose wire like it was a pinball machine, reassembling it incorrectly.
After I eventually re-reassembled and fixed the extensions conflict, the wife padlocked the tower shut.
