My husband and I don’t fight very often, but one thing we do fight about is how he calls aluminum foil "tin foil" and he's like "IT'S THE SAME THING!" and I’m like "bruh, they are completely different metals, so please go consult the periodic table I've hung above our bed."

@DXMacGuffin @Alice the second sentence in the article you linked says "cases of poisoning from tin metal are almost unknown"
it's one of the most well-known safe metals like obviously dont breathe it in or mess with organic compounds but that goes for like every metal

I'd much rather eat beans from a tin pot than a nonstick one. Tin wears out and you need to recoat your pans every once in a while, though.
