BREAKING: Massachusetts has just adopted a new law today to make phone calls from prison and jails free.

In fact, it'd also wipe charges for other forms of communication between incarcerated ppl & their loved ones.

@taniel having experienced this from the other side, I think it's great. The prisoners are not the ones footing the overpriced bill for these calls, the family members are.
My mother had to tell my incarcerated for a year brother to stop calling because she couldn't afford the collect calls on her SS paycheck.
