I mean, I already swap between Firefox and Chrome regularly. The bigger challenge will be moving everything associated with my Google account like email/calendar/maps/forms/etc.
Fortunately already aware of many alternatives at least.

Part of the problem with that is that there are parts of the Google stack that just aren't well replicated elsewhere: the reason I got so into it in the first place was the WebApps/Cloud offerings of Google Drive / Docs. I'm not sure where else to get that, and using it opts me in to a few other things.

I will say, having Mastodon take off instead of Google+ is a step in the good direction here.

I've been using Proton and NextCloud. The only Google service I still use is Maps because of its public transit integration.
