The last I'd seen,most countries were going for a pause rather than a ceasefire, so that seemed a more radical position natact1st wouldn't go for, but it looks like that view has shifted

@DodgyKnee @ArrestJK It's interesting the way Newshub framed it as "Labour leader CH breaks protocol to call for ceasefire". I'm not sure what protocol was broken. He sought support from incoming govt that was refused so he made the call as Labour Party leader. Apart from being the very basic humanity response this call along with the new CGT/Wealth Tax policies will probably stand Chippy and Labour in a far better position for the upcoming #NZPol early 2024 #NZElection.
