finally starting the “A Certain _____” series!

decided to go for the release order as the watch order

excited to see what the famous #anime is all about!

halfway through, and ‘A Certain Magical Index’ is definitely one of the more “ANIME” anime I’ve watched in a while

#ACertainMagicalIndex #anime

Halfway through the “A Certain” / Toaru franchise. It’s enjoyable but pretty mediocre so far!

Hopefully the later seasons have more world-building and chatacter development.

hold up, A Certain Scientific Railgun S’s first OP is also a banger

so I’m watching #ACertainMagicalIndex and #ACertainScientificRailgun in the release order (ya know, how they actually made it)

and dear god, look at how the audience would have to sequence them to make the plot be chronological!

i’ll take “how not to sequence interleaving concurrent narratives from multiple perspectives for 400”, Trebek.

@animealan The order I recommend is neither strictly chronological or the release order.

Railgun season 1
Index season 1
Railgun S
Index II
Railgun T
Index III

I advice starting with Railgun first because I feel there are many who would enjoy Railgun but not index however not so much the opposite.

My order still has the index versions of the Sisters arc being experienced first. So for people who do watch both Railgun S will still be part prequel part new perspective on what they already saw.

The main argument for watching Railgun T before index III is that it makes the Battle Royal more impactful. A release order viewing has so many characters simply introduced there out of the blue.
