A first-rate editorial from the Washington Post, urging Congress to ban AR-15 style rifles, bump stocks, and large magazines, all tools of mass shooters. Gift access at https://wapo.st/3MNVSkO. It follows from the Post’s excellent ongoing reporting about AR-15s, how they work and how the gun industry promotes them. #GunViolence
Don’t just be horrified. Ban AR-15s, bump stocks and large magazines.

Even the best-written accounts cannot fully convey the carnage of mass shootings. Pictures help tell the full story of what assault rifles can do.

@heidilifeldman

We need to have big trucks banned too.

"Border Patrol agent Travis Shrewsbury... noticed upon entering the classroom in #Uvalde that it looked as if somebody had written LOL in blood on the whiteboard. Alexander Cuellar, another Border Patrol agent... remembered “slipping & sliding” when he entered the classroom, trying not to fall because there was so much blood pooled on the floor.

It’s one thing to read this. It’s another to see the puddles of blood."

@heidilifeldman I put the article on my Facebook page, but forgot that I suscribe. I do not know how to “gift” & perhaps my friends can’t read it.
@PennyG @heidilifeldman on the top of the article is a gift box. That’s the link for the gift article.
@heidilifeldman they should call for people to stop electing Republicans, since that's the only way this will ever happen.
@heidilifeldman Rught in the teeth of Bruen, unless it gets modified in Rahimi.
