Naomi Klein’s The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism is brilliantly compiled, so far. I still have a ways to go. I was weary with the very poor blurbs and descriptions that made it seem like just another book exploiting #ableism and #mentalillness-as-metaphor, but that is not what is going on at all. The connections between #ECT and hyper- #capitalism are very real, and very well documented.
