@decodedlegal Do you happen to know if broadband infrastructure providers are required to offer service through multiple ISPs? Or to reveal how long their exclusivity agreements are? (In my case CityFibre + Vodafone. Nobody will give me any information!)

@danhalliday

if broadband infrastructure providers are required to offer service through multiple ISPs?

In the sense of, is someone with fibre in the ground, or operating at wholesale level, required to give retail ISPs access to their networks?

Or is a retail provider required to offer a choice of wholesale provider?

@decodedlegal Yeah, in my case Vodafone is the only ISP allowed to offer the new CityFibre service in my area (apparently due to an exclusivity agreement). I don’t want to use them, and I’m willing to wait, but neither company will tell me how long their agreement lasts. I wondered if there was any legal reason they should be required to give me details of their agreement, since the service is provided (partly?) through public infrastructure.
@danhalliday Not that I can think of, I'm afraid :(
@decodedlegal Ah oh well. Thanks for reading!
