It’s telling that your first reaction is to joke about the issue. Imagine someone talking about wage gaps and people making a joke about women.

What you’re not getting, and what you don’t understand, is that they’re not actually accusing the post of bigotry in good faith. They’re doing it only yo further the interests of misogynists, and their hypocrisy is the proof. Unless you want us to believe they actually care about what happens to women.

The motivation of a speaker dictates the context of their statements and therefore the truth value of it.
