My new favourite kind of escapism has come in the form of climbing (well, ‘bouldering’ to be precise) and as a former gymnast it suits me perfectly.

@harrybo93 There's just something about bouldering. It's the perfect blend of mental and physical activity imo.
Plus you get to fall and roll around on what is basically a giant mattress. So there's that too
@marsh931 Absolutely agreed! Quite a nice little social activity as well if you’ve got others that are interested!
I’m pretty good at the rolling around part, evidently.

So we use ropes for climbing but you’re correct that in this case the idea is that the walls don’t go high enough. But this is bollocks. I used to see people all the time that fell off these and still managed tibia&fibia fractures, broken arms etc 😂
