Giving an alternative is useful. Just saying don’t do something is pointless.
Not pointless if your goal is simply to virtue signal how much more aware you are than others.
If you use duckduckgo or whatever for this one search, it’ll probably not result in a bunch of political ads for the foreseeable future.
