@n0m0time a critique i have is that you shouldn't translate Reich with realm since a realm always implies a monarchy which germany was not and did not strive towards under hitler

@n0m0time In reply to another posting of this image, I tried to provide what I think are the sources of the Trump paraphrases (though I don't have nice links to transcripts at hand), so I suppose it may be worth linking here too:

@[email protected] As someone else said, I think this would be more effective with citations (to make it clear this is not hyperbole or inaccurate paraphrase). I don't know if the original source gave such citations., but I believe these are the origins of the Trump paraphrases: 1 and 2 appear to be taken from his Veteran's Day speech on 2023-11-11 (though he also made some overlapping remarks on Truth Social). 3 appears to be taken from a speech he gave in Cedar Rapids, IA on 2023-10-07. And 4 appears to be from a speech he gave in Hialeah, FL on 2023-11-08 (though I'm not immediately finding great information on this one). Of course it would be nice to pull the exact quotations from transcripts.

It is known that, years ago, Trump used to have Mein Kampf on his bedside table.

Apparently, that was in the period that he still read.

@n0m0time The only way it could be more obvious is if he said it in German. I hope people and in particular the press wake up to what he is.
@n0m0time Trump already sounds like he’s in the bunker…
