So they picked up 5 EWAS hits that are associated with EVER USE of cannabis which combines single use in high school (if reported) with lifetime daily use. Also >80% of their initial hits were in cigarette smokers. Okay, sure, they did a lot of work and combined lots of datasets but, my dude, do you really think that smoking pot once in your life causes associated genes to change expression? The #Endocannabinoids should have done that already shouldn't they? #SharedReceptors
